Canine Care Specialist

As a Training Kennel Technician at Guide Dogs for the Blind, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical and mental well-being of our dogs. Your responsibilities will include feeding, bathing, medicating, exercising, grooming, and monitoring the health of dogs in your care. You will also maintain a clean kennel environment and interact with constituents, including coworkers, the public, and volunteers. Additionally, you will update digital records and document accurate information.

Requirements:
- Physical stamina to be on your feet all day, bending, lifting, scooping, and hosing
- Experience caring for dogs in a kennel, veterinarian's office, or training environment preferred
- This is a full-time position requiring work on weekends, including day shifts and one evening shift per week, with some holiday shifts also required
