Job Summary

Morada Senior Living is seeking a skilled Care Giver/Med Tech to provide exceptional care and support to our residents. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering hands-on care, physical and emotional support, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of each resident's needs, preferences, and medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Document resident interactions, care provided, and any notable events or concerns in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring resident-centered care and promoting independence.
  • Assist with medication management, including preparation, administration, and documentation.
  • Perform vital sign monitoring, including temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse, and respiration rates.
  • Respond to resident call bells and security system alerts in a timely and professional manner.
  • Engage residents in activities and programs that promote socialization, mental stimulation, and overall well-being.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in care delivery.
Requirements
  • Certified Nurse's Aid (CNA) certification preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
