Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Safety Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment, and promoting a culture of safety within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards
  • Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and protocols
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of our operations

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in construction or a related field
  • Experience in renewable energy or a related field is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of materials

Work Environment:

  • Industrial construction sites and fabrication shops
  • Outdoor climate and exposure to weather elements
  • High/low elevations and confined areas
