As a key member of our Front of House Team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and hospitality to our guests. This includes promoting our beer portfolio, educating guests on our menu and brand history, and ensuring a seamless dining experience.

Key responsibilities include:

* Maintaining a professional and positive attitude with all employees and customers
* Delivering world-class customer service to all guests
* Educating guests on our beer portfolio and menu
* Guiding guests in selecting Avery beers
* Taking orders and entering them into our POS system
* Cleaning and bussing tables
* Working well independently and with a team
* Handling and resolving customer complaints
* Attending quarterly staff meetings

Qualifications:

* Demonstrates professionalism and good judgment
* Great communication skills
* Previous experience in craft beer or the service industry
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required
* Safe Alcohol Service Training and Certified Beer Server or Cicerone Server certification is a plus
* Physically capable of a variety of duties including lifting of 50 pounds or more, extended amounts of standing, stooping, crouching, and climbing

Expectations:

* Adherence to and modeling of established Avery Brewing Co. policies and procedures
* Ability to remain solution-focused
* Strong understanding of the brewing process, draft systems, and beer flavor profiles preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

* $11.40 per hour base rate plus tips
