Bakery Plant Worker Job Description

This role represents a key position within our Bakery Plant, requiring a high level of reliability and attendance. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, including breads, cakes, and pastries, according to established recipes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and package fresh-baked products for distribution
  • Operate mixers, bread slicers, ovens, and proof boxes to ensure efficient production
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company guidelines and regulations
  • Load and unload deliveries, handling and shipping bakery products as needed
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Training and Requirements:

Training will be provided at the facility level to ensure the candidate is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge. Internal candidates must have a minimum of six months' employment with Schnucks, while Store Support Center Teammates require a minimum of one year's service. All candidates must be in good standing and have manager approval based on performance.
