As a key member of our team, the Maintenance Technician/Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery. This involves maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and adjusting all mechanical components to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Repair and maintain all mechanical equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and ensure productivity.
- Collaborate with the team to share knowledge and best practices, and assist with training and development programs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements to ensure our equipment and processes remain state-of-the-art.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to track maintenance activities and identify areas for improvement.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Three years of industrial experience or equivalent required.
- Technical or vocational school training in mechanics is preferred.
- Advanced mechanical knowledge and standard knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools, and use measuring tools and equipment.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
