Job Summary:The Radiology Technologist will work under the supervision of a licensed radiologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans. You will be responsible for preparing patients for exams, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans
- Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
- Operate imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and MRI scanners
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, including disinfecting equipment and disposing of waste
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in radiology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
