Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Optum. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate imaging equipment and other devices to produce high-quality radiographs.
  • Evaluate radiographs for technical quality and seek advice when necessary.
  • Troubleshoot and problem-solve issues with imaging equipment and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
  • Valid license to practice as a registered Radiology Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of software applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly EPIC.
  • Orthopedic experience.
