Key Responsibilities- Guest Engagement: Provide friendly and professional interaction to guests and staff, offering helpful and knowledgeable information about Discovery Cube and its offerings.
- Program Delivery: Proactively engage guests while on the floor and interacting with exhibits, ensuring all guests are having a fun and safe experience.
- Science Demonstrations: Lead science-based demonstrations for multiple age levels, utilizing a variety of interactive exhibits and equipment.
- Event Support: Assist with stage shows, field trips, birthday parties, and other programs as needed, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for all guests.
- Education: High School Diploma required; College degree preferred, with a focus on Science or Education.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in a fast-paced Customer Service environment preferred, with public speaking or performance experience.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills required, with a basic understanding of scientific concepts and willingness to learn and teach scientific concepts.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods of time without reasonable accommodation, with the ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs. for short periods of time.
- Competitive Compensation: $16.50 USD per hour
- Benefits: Up to 14 Free general admission tickets per year, 4 Bubblefest tickets plus admission, 10% off on-site dining and shopping discount, and employee discounts through ADP.
