About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Support Technician to join our team at McKesson. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of electro-mechanical systems in our distribution center environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electro-mechanical systems, including forklifts, batteries, bailers, and compactors.
  • Provide electrical, mechanical, and automation support for forklifts, batteries, battery exchangers, bailers, and compactors.
  • Complete daily operator checklists, inspections, and provide support on team radios.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance efforts, including training and leading team members.
  • Train, communicate with, and maintain effective relationships with associates, service contractors, and vendors.
  • Support facility and maintenance technicians on conveyance, package, and building utilities systems.
  • Ensure a safety-first mindset in all job functions, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Apply lean six sigma principles to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements
  • Typically requires 1+ years of related experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, including standing, sitting, walking, and using general and roof ladders, scissor lifts, and fork trucks.
  • Must be able to carry and operate a laptop and handheld device.
  • Willingness to work various hours in a 24/7 operational warehouse.
