Job Description

Xpedient Logistics is a leading provider of 3rd party logistics services. We offer extensive expertise in warehousing, transportation management, supply chain management, order fulfillment, and labor needs.

Compensation:

$18.73 per hour

About the Role

This role involves ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance within a warehouse environment. The primary responsibilities include conducting audits and inspections of warehouse operations, inventory, and procedures to identify discrepancies, errors, or areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Regularly audit warehouse operations, including inventory counts, stock movements, and order processing.
  2. Verify inventory levels by comparing them to system records and conducting physical counts.
  3. Identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in inventory records and take corrective action as necessary.
  4. Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management and warehouse operations.
  5. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
  6. Collaborate with warehouse managers and team members to implement best practices for inventory control and accuracy.
  7. Generate detailed reports on audit findings, recommendations, and corrective actions taken.
  8. Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline warehouse operations and enhance efficiency.
  9. Train warehouse team members on inventory management procedures and best practices.
  10. Assist in developing and implementing inventory management systems and tools.

Safety Protocols:

  1. Observe and follow health and safety regulations.
  2. Enforce operating instructions and safety policies.
  3. Collaborate with management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures.
  4. Maintain accurate records of safety incidents.
  5. Assign designated safety personnel.
  6. Ensure the warehouse remains clean, safe, and well-organized.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or auditing.
  2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  3. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  4. Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
  5. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to warehouse operations.
  6. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  9. Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
