Job Title: Risk Management Senior Specialist

Job Summary:
Assist in providing risk oversight and advice to the Line of Business (LOB) on risk management issues. Monitor and adhere to risk management policies, limits, standards, controls, metrics, and thresholds within the defined corporate standards. Conduct execution of risk framework activities, including independent monitoring and testing of controls and risk management processes for the LOB.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with quality assurance activities of internal issues portfolios for multiple lines of business
  • Engage with key stakeholders to provide feedback and influence change
  • Assist with establishing risk management procedures and standards
  • Ensure adherence to the policies and procedures established by the company
  • Support risk management analysis and reporting

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in business operations or support, risk management, issues management, regulatory support (or related experience), or a combination of each
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, prioritize, and multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
  • Proactively understand responsibilities and manage tasks independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with QA/QC in the financial services environment
  • Proven ability to build and cultivate relationships both externally and internally across the organization
  • Comfortable working with people at all organizational levels
  • Knowledgeable of Bank of America's business lines, operations, organizational structure, senior executives, etc.
  • Prior experience in performing analysis using Excel, Pivot, Tableau, etc.
