New Home Star is seeking a highly skilled Sales Consultant to join our team in the Charles Town, WV area. As a Sales Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work with our builder partner, Maronda Homes, and help customers navigate the home buying process. You will be responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with potential customers, managing sales opportunities from lead qualification to deal closing, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the home building/buying journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete a 12-month sales training program to master New Home Star's approach and Maronda Homes' building procedures.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of Maronda Homes' products, services, and competitive advantages.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with potential customers through phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Manage sales opportunities from lead qualification to deal closing by following our sales process.
  • Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to track leads, manage sales activities, and update customer progress.

Requirements:

  • Be able to work onsite during business hours, including weekend days.
  • A real estate license in the state of operation is required after two months of employment.
  • Passion and skill for interacting with customers in significant purchase decisions.
  • Proficient computer knowledge/skills (i.e., MS Office Suite such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Reliable transportation is required to facilitate travel throughout your workday.
  • A valid driver's license and current liability insurance are required.
