Job SummaryThe Assistant Director Nursing is a key leadership role responsible for the management of clinical nursing practice and patient care delivery. This position requires a strong understanding of healthcare operations, leadership skills, and the ability to foster a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage clinical nursing practice and patient care delivery
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
- Lead and manage a team of nursing staff to achieve departmental goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards
- Minimum of Bachelor Science in Nursing with 1 year of RN experience OR 7 years of RN experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Licensed as Registered Nurse in the State of Florida
