We are seeking a skilled Agriculture Equipment Technician to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for traveling to client sites to conduct field repairs on farm equipment, coordinating the transportation of damaged equipment, and supervising a team of technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to client sites to conduct field repairs on farm equipment using the appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Coordinate the transportation of extensively damaged equipment to the nearest facility for assignment to a specialized repair team.
  • Supervise a team of three to four technicians, overseeing repairs on dairy equipment, irrigation systems, and other machinery requiring collaborative efforts.
  • Provide 24-hour coverage for service calls during on-call duty periods, ensuring timely response to client needs.
  • Offer daytime support to on-call mechanics handling repair jobs that require additional assistance.
  • Participate in location-based repair teams, servicing equipment brought in by on-call farm equipment mechanics at client work sites.
Requirements:
  • Small engine repair certification
  • Diesel engine repair certification
  • Hydraulic systems repair certification
  • Commercial driver's license - Class C
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two or more years of experience in farm equipment repair
  • Associate's degree in a field related to agriculture
