JusticeWorks Family of Services is seeking a dedicated Child Welfare Specialist in Fayette County, PA. This is a part-time opportunity for a passionate individual to provide comprehensive case management services to children and families.

About the Role

The Child Welfare Specialist will be responsible for assessing the needs of each family, developing individualized goals, and coordinating services to assist families in navigating the social service system. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with a team of professionals, and possess a strong understanding of child welfare principles and practices.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and engage families in service planning based on demonstrated needs.
  • Plan and implement appropriate interventions using evidence-based and best practice approaches.
  • Transport clients utilizing personal vehicle, as necessary.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and access to a vehicle.
  • Pass current applicable clearances.
  • Pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends.
