We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Technician to join our interdisciplinary team at Community Rehabilitation Hospital West. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals in need of continued rehabilitation services.

About the Role

As a Rehabilitation Technician, you will be responsible for providing morning and evening care to patients, including bed baths, showers, oral hygiene, and other general care as needed. You will also assist patients with meal preparation, answer call lights, and anticipate their needs to ensure a comfortable and safe environment.

In addition to providing direct patient care, you will work closely with licensed nursing staff to assist with treatment procedures and report any changes observed in patient condition or behavior. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in building strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • CPR/BCLS Certification: We require all employees to be certified in CPR and BCLS.
  • Minimum Six Months Experience in an Acute or Long-Term Facility: Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You will need to be able to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
