Job Overview

Mountain Alarm Fire & Security is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Fire Alarm Apprentice. This role offers the opportunity to learn and develop skills in installation, service, and inspection of security alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support installation, service, and inspection of security alarms and associated low-voltage systems
  • Conduct thorough system testing and inspections to ensure compliance with prescribed standards
  • Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs for customers' security equipment
  • Prominently display excellent attendance, punctuality, and customer service skills
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment on and off site
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Must be responsible, self-motivated, personable, and well-organized
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, Mountain Alarm Fire & Security offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
