Job Summary:

About the Role:

We are a leading provider of care services, and our Head Chef will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operations are efficient, safe, and of the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement menus that cater to the diverse dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of chefs and kitchen assistants to ensure excellent food preparation and presentation.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with our care team to understand resident preferences and dietary requirements, tailoring our menu offerings to meet their needs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef Manager in a care home or similar setting.
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications, including food hygiene and safety.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, with a focus on efficiency and quality.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to resident-centered care.
