Job Overview

The Front Desk Associate (FDA) serves as the welcoming face of World Gym - Kalispell, playing a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for all members and guests. This position is vital as the FDA is the first point of contact for individuals entering the facility and the last interaction they have upon leaving. It is essential to greet every member and guest promptly, accompanied by a warm smile and friendly demeanor, to make them feel valued and appreciated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet all individuals entering the gym with professionalism and a friendly attitude.
  • Assist members and guests promptly to address their needs efficiently.
  • Answer incoming calls within three rings, maintaining a courteous tone and following the provided script.
  • Handle various administrative duties, including filing agreements, processing payments, and updating member information.
  • Conduct tours for every guest, clearly presenting membership options and terms.
  • Facilitate the enrollment process for new members.
  • Schedule fitness assessment appointments for new members with the Personal Training Manager.
  • Perform cleaning tasks, conduct locker room checks, manage inventory, prepare smoothies, and process point-of-sale transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with all World Gym policies and procedures, fostering a respectful environment for members and staff.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with exceptional customer service skills.
  • A genuine passion for fitness and a desire to assist others.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adhere to policies and procedures.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking abilities.
  • Basic math and verbal skills, along with a foundational understanding of accounting principles and cash handling.
  • Proficient computer skills and efficient typing abilities.
  • Physical capability to meet the demands of the role, including frequent sitting, standing, walking, and the ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds.
Reporting Structure

This position reports directly to the Assistant Manager and indirectly to the General Manager.

Educational Background

A High School Diploma or some college experience is preferred.

Certifications

Current CPR & AED Certification is required, or will be provided by World Gym.
