Speech Therapist Opportunity

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals providing home-based Early Intervention services to infants, toddlers, and their families.

Job Summary

We are looking for a flexible and challenging opportunity to work with young children and their families. As a Speech Therapist, you will conduct developmental assessments, provide speech therapy services, and work with families to develop strategies to help each child reach their specific developmental goals.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct developmental assessments and provide speech therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model
  • Follow each child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their specific developmental goals
  • Provide services in the child's natural environment, in families' homes, daycare centers, and/or other community settings; virtual services also currently available
  • Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual)
  • Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)
Requirements
  • California Speech Language Pathology license
  • Pediatric experience required (Early Intervention experience preferred)
  • Home-based service delivery experience preferred
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
