Land Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Land Surveyor to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our engineering and sciences services team, you will be responsible for conducting field surveys, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing detailed reports and drawings.

• Conduct field surveys to collect data on land boundaries, topography, and other relevant features
• Operate and maintain survey equipment, including GPS, robotic total stations, and terrestrial lidar
• Collect and analyze data using software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Prepare detailed reports and drawings of survey results
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and efficient completion of projects

• Proficiency with survey equipment and software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Experience with 3D scanning and photogrammetry
• Knowledge of construction layout and stakeout procedures
• Ability to work in inclement weather
• Willingness to travel within Connecticut
