Land Surveyor

Award-winning engineering and environmental services firm Actalent is seeking a highly skilled Land Surveyor to join their team. As a senior-level position, this role requires a strong background in surveying and leadership skills to manage and lead a team of surveyors.

• Lead and manage a team of surveyors to complete survey projects
• Conduct fieldwork and research to gather data for survey drawings
• Transfer field data to office computer networks
• Perform boundary computations and prepare topographic and contour maps
• Collect and compile information for stake projects and construction
• Use robotic instruments, total stations, and leveling to complete surveys
• Work in inclement weather and travel to project sites

• Proficient in data collectors, data collection techniques, and robotic instruments
• Experience with 3D scanners and ability to learn
• Self-starter with little need for supervision
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
