Job Summary:

The Special Education Paraprofessional will provide support to the classroom teacher in a special education setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong commitment to providing a supportive learning environment for students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the classroom teacher in implementing lesson plans and providing instruction to students
Provide individualized support to students with special needs
Assist with student assessment, grading, and record-keeping
Participate in class field trips and other school activities
Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
Experience working with children with special needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
