Responsible for the evaluation, coordination, and delivery of nursing services, which includes direct patient care, education for patients and families, and managing transitions of care within an acute care environment. Provides comprehensive and personalized care to all patients in the designated area. Develops, implements, and oversees a care plan that considers psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors. Cultivates and sustains collaborative relationships among patients, their families/support networks, physicians, and other healthcare professionals through effective and timely communication. Complies with hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and relevant laws and regulations to enhance the patient experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrating proficient knowledge of patient care methodologies, medications, treatments, and general healthcare practices.

Experience:

A minimum of one year of current experience in the relevant specialty is required.

Education:

Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

Registered Nurse - State Licensure - RN is required.

Basic Life Support Certification - BLS is required.

Job Shift:

Evening shifts.

Schedule:

Short Hour shifts.

Shift Duration:

8 hours.

Days of the Week:

Variable scheduling.

Weekend Requirements:

Every other weekend.
