This role is a Full-time non-exempt position, with a typical schedule of Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate communication of financial reporting information and data across various departments and teams.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy in the posting of all member and customer financial transactions.
  • Oversee the processing of payments, including physical checks, along with managing associated reports, rejections, exceptions, and necessary follow-ups.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations and record journal entries as part of the month-end closing process.
  • Responsible for entering and auditing end-of-day transactions.
  • Reconcile bank accounts associated with the resort.
  • Manage both external and internal accounts receivable.
  • Maintain the functionality and user access of the Point of Sale (POS) systems throughout the resort.
  • Assist in maintaining PCI compliance across the resort.
  • Prepare financial statements for multiple vacation homes, ensuring taxes are accurately paid and reconciled.
  • Prepare and remit lodging and personal property taxes for resort entities.
  • Monitor membership accounts receivable closely and collaborate with the membership manager to ensure timely payments.
  • Participate in annual audit reviews.
  • Manage and reconcile capital expenditures.
  • Support the maintenance of internal accounting and financial controls.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience, with a general understanding of computerized billing software and accounting functions.
  • Experience in account reconciliations is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for report creation, generation, and analysis; intermediate-level understanding is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and literacy, including Microsoft Office and databases.
  • Familiarity with Intacct accounting software or Resort Suite is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is necessary.
