Job Summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking a skilled Automation Technician to provide technical support and service to customers worldwide. As a key member of our team, you will travel to customer sites to troubleshoot, repair, and install industrial automation equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site technical support and commissioning services for industrial machinery.
  • Assist customers and local trades in troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • Debug and service electrical components.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for equipment operation.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLC-based equipment.
  • Program and troubleshoot HMI (Human Machine Interface) equipment.
  • Design and implement new PLC and HMI applications per customer requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Knowledge of computer programming architectures such as VB, C/C++, or C#.
  • Understanding of electrical circuits, schematic reading, design, and troubleshooting.
  • Mathematical skills in geometry and trigonometry.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Microsoft Windows operating system and PC experience.
  • Microsoft Office application experience.
  • Ability to travel approximately 70% of the time.
