Job Overview
This Senior Financial Analyst role will report directly to the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis and will be tasked with overseeing financial planning activities and guiding business decisions through comprehensive financial analysis, modeling, data analytics, and reporting.

This position will involve working with medium to complex datasets and deriving financial insights from various analytical methods.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide essential insights derived from data analysis to ensure that all initiatives effectively support operational, segment, and functional goals.
- Conduct analysis, monitoring, and reporting of trends in key performance areas against established benchmarks.
- Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Develop a range of financial models to support analysis, forecasting, projections, and performance evaluations.
- Offer guidance and training on key business tools utilized by operational and functional teams.
- Provide financial insights regarding product innovation, promotions, pricing strategies, and associated risks.
- Enhance reporting efficiencies to facilitate timely and effective analysis of outcomes.
- Review and assess P&L results against expectations and identify necessary operational actions to boost sales and profitability.
- Evaluate the feasibility and return on investment of existing and proposed initiatives.
- Actively seek opportunities for improvement through analysis and present findings in a clear, organized manner.
- Serve as a primary contact for functional teams requiring specialized analyses that are critical for decision-making processes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Accounting, or Economics; MBA is a plus.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in the restaurant or retail industry is preferred, especially in operational, menu, marketing, and culinary finance.
- Familiarity with Oracle EPM/Smartview data mining or administration is advantageous.
- Proficient in handling large datasets for efficient and effective analysis.
- Advanced skills in Excel and a working knowledge of other MS Office applications are required.
- Experience with Tableau and/or SQL is a plus.
- Proven ability to create advanced financial models.
- Experience in rapidly growing and scaling organizations is preferred.
