Exciting Non-Invasive Cardiology Opportunity

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Board-certified or Board-eligible, fellowship-trained cardiologist to join a well-established practice located in a vibrant medical community. This role focuses on the inpatient service of a reputable healthcare facility situated conveniently near major urban centers.

Practice Details:

  • The practice includes two hospitals equipped with comprehensive non-invasive cardiology departments.
  • Available services include EKG, echocardiography, Holter monitoring, nuclear stress testing, and cardiac telemetry.
  • Both facilities feature cardiac catheterization labs, with one offering advanced capabilities for coronary interventions and electrophysiology.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

  • Conduct new and follow-up consultations in both inpatient and emergency settings.
  • Be proficient in interpreting EKGs, Holter monitors, echocardiograms, and cardiac stress tests.
  • Manage acute cardiac conditions, including but not limited to CHF, dysrhythmias, and myocardial infarctions.
  • Possess training in the management of intra-aortic assist devices (IABP) and Impella devices, which is desirable but not mandatory.

Team Structure:

The cardiology division comprises a team of five physicians, providing robust outpatient services alongside inpatient consults. The practice is part of a larger physician-owned multispecialty group, which includes a diverse range of medical and surgical specialists.
