Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conducts thorough cleaning and housekeeping duties throughout the assigned venue.
  2. Collects waste and ensures trash receptacles are emptied regularly.
  3. Maintains cleanliness and supplies in restrooms.
  4. Supports the sanitization of shared spaces and facilities.
  5. Washes windows to ensure clear visibility.
  6. Cleans floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
  7. Vacuums and tidies rugs, furniture, and other areas.
  8. Dusts surfaces, including furniture, walls, and decorations.
  9. Identifies safety hazards and reports them to management.
  10. Follows safety protocols for using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  11. Utilizes cleaning agents and solutions according to safety guidelines.
  12. Ensures cleaning supplies are adequately stocked.
  13. Picks up litter in surrounding areas.
  14. Adheres to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Staff Handbook.
  15. Performs additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred.
  • One to three years of experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role in a busy environment is preferred.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  1. Comprehensive understanding of safety and proper usage of various cleaning solutions.
  2. Detail-oriented with a focus on thoroughness.
  3. Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision.
  4. Capability to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills with a courteous demeanor towards staff and guests.
  6. Proficient command of the English language.
  7. Able to comprehend and respond to requests from guests and staff.
  8. Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
  9. Reliable and dependable work ethic.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting and moving objects of varying weights.
  • Must maintain balance to prevent falls in various conditions.
  • Able to carry loads exceeding 35 pounds and exert force as needed.
  • Willingness to climb and navigate stairs and ladders.
  • Ability to hear and respond to normal speaking levels.
  • Comfortable working in environments with moderate to high noise levels.
  • Specific vision capabilities, including close and distance vision.
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
