Job Overview
POSITION SUMMARY
In this role, the Security Guard operates under minimal supervision to ensure the safety and security of designated work sites, personnel, and assets for Denali Universal Services. This position involves regular monitoring of a warehouse environment in Monroe, LA, enforcing safety protocols, conducting routine patrols, and responding to incidents in accordance with established guidelines.
This is a full-time hourly position with the potential for overtime, resulting in a minimum monthly compensation of $4,000.
Work Schedule: Rotational schedule of one week on and one week off (1x1).
Key Responsibilities
- Execute post orders effectively, ensuring compliance with client and company policies.
- Protect property from damage, theft, and unauthorized access.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, checking all access points for security.
- Perform searches of individuals, vehicles, and assigned areas as necessary.
- Maintain professional interactions with visitors and staff.
- Manage visitor access and issue identification badges.
- Monitor and control traffic and parking in the area.
- Utilize CCTV equipment for surveillance as required.
- Assist in emergency situations, including potential rescue operations.
- Document daily activities and incidents through reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in military, law enforcement, or security is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to obtain a State of Louisiana Unarmed Security Officer License.
- Successful completion of pre-employment screenings, including drug tests and background checks.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
