Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat patients with psychiatric-mental health problems.
  • Provide emergency psychiatric services and conduct thorough examinations.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with primary healthcare providers and educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices.

Requirements:

Master of Science Degree in Nursing with a concentration in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner required.

Must be licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Louisiana.

Certification as a Mental Health NP is essential.

Excellent communication and leadership skills are necessary for success in this role.
