As a Sylvan educator, your role will involve working with students across various age groups.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist high school students with their math assignments, but you may also be required to support late-elementary and middle school students using our established curriculums.
These are straightforward, pre-designed lessons that involve introducing a topic to a student, followed by allowing the student to practice independently what they have just learned.
You will play a crucial role in inspiring and connecting with each student, ensuring they feel motivated to learn.

This position is not remote. Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in mathematics or a related field.
- In addition to the standard interview process, candidates will need to demonstrate their skills by completing a math assessment covering Algebra through Pre-Calculus, which will take approximately one hour.
- A passion for teaching, working with, and inspiring students is essential. (We want you to thrive here)
- Punctuality is critical. Candidates must be local and possess reliable transportation.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
