Position Overview:
The Property Tax Consultant specializes in identifying tax savings opportunities for commercial clients while collaborating with a dedicated team. This role involves a thorough understanding of property tax computations and effective communication with taxing authorities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research to uncover tax-related issues.
- Reconcile databases and perform detailed calculations.
- Assist in the verification process with taxing authorities.
- Foster a positive experience for team members, enhancing client service and contributing to the firm's profitability.

Client Interaction:
- Address inquiries and requests from clients and tax authorities.
- Participate in client meetings and property inspections.
- Review and analyze client property tax records.
- Prepare and evaluate property reports and renditions.
- Determine potential assessment reductions and liability for development projects.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Finance.
- Minimum of six credit hours in Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or Finance with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Relevant experience in audit or tax-related roles is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently or collaboratively.

Technical Proficiency:
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Work Environment:
- Standard indoor office setting with regular interaction with team members and clients.

Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel may be necessary.
