Position Overview:

ROLE OBJECTIVE:
The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in assisting the Store Manager in fostering a customer-centric and product-oriented sales atmosphere. This includes overseeing sales operations, safeguarding assets, and managing human resources functions to ensure an exceptional customer experience and optimal profitability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performance Management:
Evaluates sales data and key performance indicators to identify business needs; collaborates with the Store Manager to implement effective in-store business and sales strategies.
Sets and communicates clear expectations, holding both the store team and themselves accountable for meeting all brand, performance, and behavioral standards.Manages payroll and supply budgets effectively.
Oversees essential operational tasks such as staff scheduling, shrink audits, inventory management, opening and closing procedures, time sheet verification, and merchandise flow processes.
Ensures adherence to all relevant laws, loss prevention policies, and operational procedures; conducts training for associates to reinforce proper controls.
Maintains visual merchandising, organization, and facility upkeep that reflects the Brand's identity.Fosters a high-performance culture, motivating the sales team to achieve set sales and productivity targets.
Provides training and coaching to ensure the sales team possesses comprehensive product knowledge both online and in-store.
Customer Engagement:
Demonstrates, instructs, and advocates for the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards.
Ensures prompt and effective resolution of customer inquiries and concerns.
Facilitates a swift and efficient checkout experience.
Team Development:
Assists in the recruitment, hiring, and development of a high-performing team.
Encourages associate and team engagement by recognizing and rewarding exceptional performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of experience in retail management preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated customer service excellence with a proven track record in sales and leadership.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Regular attendance is essential for this role.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Frequent walking and standing throughout the shift.
Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of the shift).
Regular climbing (34%-66% of the shift).
