Position Overview:

The Cyber Range Engineer is responsible for executing assessments and evaluations to uncover weaknesses and potential threat pathways within systems and networks. This role involves the creation of exploits and the engineering of attack strategies. Utilize advanced consulting capabilities, comprehensive technical knowledge, and industry expertise to devise innovative solutions for intricate challenges. Operate with minimal supervision while providing guidance and mentorship to team members.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code and VMware technologies.
  • Proficiency in Terraform or Ansible.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity instruments, network setups, and operational tools, including Domain Controllers, Exchange Servers, and DNS Servers.
  • Knowledge of operating systems, specifically Windows and Linux.
  • Understanding of networking and virtualization concepts.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • High School diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Capability to automate processes through the development and deployment of custom scripts, shellcode, or applications.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Information Systems.
  • Relevant certifications such as GREM, GCFA, GCTI, CEH, or CISSP.
  • Security+ Certification.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to fulfill eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
