Perfusion Specialist

Job Summary
Yale New Haven Health is seeking a skilled Perfusionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating extra-corporeal circulation equipment during medical procedures and ensuring the proper management of physiologic functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient medical status and calculate perfusion requirements.
- Conduct perfusion techniques and monitor patient status to maintain appropriate vital signs.
- Maintain current knowledge of perfusion technology and cardiac surgery through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited cardiopulmonary perfusion program with a master's degree or a bachelor's degree.
- Preferred two years of experience with a bachelor's or master's degree. New graduates welcome to apply.
- Certified or eligible to be certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Connecticut State Perfusion License/ABCP Certified Clinical Perfusionist preferred or must obtain within one year of hire.
