Job Summary
As an Occupational Therapist in our inpatient setting, you will assess patients, develop, and initiate treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations, including tests and measurements of physical, cognitive, perceptual, and developmental skills. You will provide direct patient care, document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities
- You will assume patient care responsibility, perform comprehensive evaluations, accurately interpret findings, and complete written plans of care.
- Implement occupational therapy treatment programs, provide basic occupational therapy treatments, and supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and Rehab Technicians.
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and professional colleagues to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Present special topics in professional literature at meetings and conferences, contributing to the advancement of occupational therapy practices.
- Manage time efficiently, document appropriately, and ensure safe care to patients, staff, and visitors.
- Promote individual professional growth and development, support department-based goals, and serve as a preceptor, mentor, and resource to colleagues.

What We Offer
As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
