Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling: Schedule meetings, appointments, and events for the HR Department and city staff.
  • HRIS Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the HR Information System (HRIS).
  • Employee Benefit Coordination: Coordinate employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other welfare programs.
  • Pro-active Staff Support: Provide ongoing support to city staff, including answering questions, resolving issues, and escalating concerns to supervisors as needed.

In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining department budgets, processing finance-related paperwork, creating requisitions for department purchases, tracking and purchasing annual department software and membership subscriptions, and using and maintaining department credit cards in accordance with city purchasing policies.
