We are seeking an experienced AWS Technical Lead to join our Cloud Engineering team. The successful candidate will lead and manage a team of engineers and senior engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and communicate the engineering team's vision, mission, and goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, assessing their potential impact on the organization.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure the successful design, development, and execution of the product/project/deliverables.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and senior engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
  • 12+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong focus on AWS.
  • Good experience with AWS Cloud, MSK, Kinesis, Lambda, and container orchestration systems like Kubernetes and ECS.
  • Hands-on experience with Core Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, MVC, and microservices.
  • Good working knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with Kafka and other messaging systems like RabbitMQ.
  • Hands-on experience with REST-based web services, GIT, and Maven.
  • Experience with SQL queries and MySQL, as well as testing experience with JUnit/Spock/Groovy.
  • Design patterns, design principles, and experience with writing design documents and UML.
  • Experience with handling AWS data engineering projects.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Working experience in automation and performance testing.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Experience with code quality tools like SonarQube, Checkstyle, and Findbugs.
  • Experience with DevOps and related toolsets.
  • Experience in client-facing roles.
