As a Behavioral Aide, you will work under the supervision of teachers to support students with behavioral challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students, possess strong math and literacy education skills, and excel in classroom and behavior management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor student behavior and communication, redirecting inappropriate behaviors and administering behavior intervention programs
  • Help students build social skills and foster healthy concepts
Supporting Teachers and Students
  • Assist teachers in developing and using materials to enhance learning
  • Participate in the Problem-Solving Model-Response to Intervention (PSM-RtI) process to help determine intervention plans and Individualized Education Program (IEP) services
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children in a school setting, daycare, or Montessori environment
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities
