Progressive Care Unit Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Progressive Care Unit Nurse to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a PCU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic bedside care to patients
- Stabilize critical cardiac patients
- Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs
- Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients
- Initiate corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology
Requirements:
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- NIH certification
- 2 years of experience in a PCU setting
