The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide resident-centered care, including daily living assistance, bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing.
- Assist residents with meals and snacks, providing water and supplements as needed.
- Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs.
- Participate in wellness and recreational programs, encouraging residents to participate.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.
- Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year.
