Job Summary:

The Surgical Technologist plays a vital role in the surgical team, ensuring a smooth and efficient operating room experience. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures.
  • Assists the surgical team during procedures, ensuring a safe and sterile environment.
  • Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center.
  • Participates in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and surgical outcomes.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program or previous surgical technician experience of at least two years.
  • CPR certification.
  • Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions.
  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
