Location: Manhattan, NY
Shift: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm includes a 60 min break
Duration: 26 week assignment. Monday thru Friday
Pay Range: $20-$22/hr.
Job Overview:
As a Patient Registrar, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare system by ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process for patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Clerical Experience: A minimum of one year in a clerical role is required.
- Insurance Knowledge: Familiarity with health insurance policies is essential.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with patients and staff.
- Technical Proficiency: Competence in using phone systems and computer applications is required.
- Patient Registration: Previous experience in patient registration is advantageous.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous patient registration experience is a plus.
Education:
- High School diploma or GED is required.
