Position Summary: As an Immigration Law Associate, you will play a pivotal role in our mission, managing essential components of immigration law, including VAWA, T, and U visa applications, as well as general affirmative filings. Your responsibilities will encompass vigorous representation in immigration courts, covering everything from Master hearings to merits hearings. In this role, you will not only practice law but also provide mentorship and guidance to our talented team of paralegals and legal assistants.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement comprehensive legal strategies for a varied clientele.
  • Oversee and enhance the legal work produced by paralegals and legal assistants.
  • Represent clients in court and during USCIS interviews, showcasing outstanding advocacy and negotiation abilities.
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism and confidentiality in all communications and responsibilities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred for effective client interactions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research and time management capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite/Google Suite, including Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.

Education/Experience:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license and current membership in the bar of any U.S. state.
  • Legal experience as a licensed attorney.
  • Litigation and supervisory experience is a plus.
