  • Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including labor, equipment, and space, to meet changing demand and operational goals.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and training, fostering a culture of safety awareness among distribution center personnel.
  • Vendor and Carrier Management: Collaborate with external partners, carriers, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Reports and Analysis: Generate and analyze reports on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members, supervisors, and external partners.
  • Business Acumen: Knowledge of materials, distribution processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of goods.
  • Leadership Experience: 5-7+ years of experience managing a team of supervisors in a fulfillment environment, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and delivering results.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in ERP systems, RF Smart WMS, UPS WorldShip, Fed Ex Ship Manager, and Endicia Dazzle.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
