Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at Settlers Ridge Care Center in Celina, TX.

The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term healthcare and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining nursing service objectives and standards of practice consistent with licensure requirements.
  • Evaluating staffing patterns and administering medication/treatments as prescribed.
  • Receiving, transcribing, and implementing physician's orders.
  • Implementing and evaluating care plans.
  • Directing and overseeing subordinate staff.
  • Participating in duty assignments and organizing/coordinating subordinates and job tasks.
  • Overseeing and monitoring the function and activities of subordinate staff.
  • Evaluating staff performance and instituting appropriate action, discipline, or training.
  • Monitoring infection control compliance and investigating/documenting accidents/incidents.

Requirements include:

  • Current, valid licensure as a LVN.
  • Experience in long-term healthcare preferred.
  • Management/Supervisory experience required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed.
  • Strong written and verbal skills required.
