Fabricator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team at Wastequip's Winamac, IN manufacturing operation. As a Fabricator, you will play a critical role in fabricating steel parts and tools to support our production needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate steel and other metal parts according to work orders and blueprints.
  • Operate machinery to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
  • Inspect workpieces to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborate with production team members to meet production deadlines.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes.
Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of prior production experience.
  • Prior experience operating a Press Brake and/or Shear is a plus.
  • Understanding of basic CNC controls.
  • Ability to read blueprints and measuring tape.
  • Basic math and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced production environment.
