Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at BraunAbility. As a Welder, you will be responsible for completing various tasks according to established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Read, learn, and understand work instructions to complete labor-intensive tasks according to established guidelines and quality standards.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete finished products.
  • Perform hand-welding to weld or join metal components of fabricated metal products.
  • Inspect parts and products as necessary according to established guidelines and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment according to established guidelines and quality standards.
  • Practice problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques as part of a team responsible for continuous improvement to products and processes.
  • Cross-train in other areas of the department as needed.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, co-workers, and management.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to read blueprints and a tape measure.
